Wattyl releases high performance Epinamel range

Wattyl has recently released  Epinamel DTM985, a surface tolerant, rapid curing, high solids, high build, direct-to-metal, primer/build coat/finish for atmospheric and immersion applications.

Wattyl’s Epinamel product range consists of high performance epoxies engineered to provide the highest level of protection. The range consists of primers, undercoats, direct-to-metal, abrasion resistant and chemical resistant tank coatings.

A highly versatile and economical maintenance coating for heavy industrial applications, Epinamel DTM985 is well suited for use in mines, off shore rigs, wharf structures and ship hulls to provide long term corrosion protection. It is typically used as a high build, single coat application or in combination with a polyurethane topcoat.

Epinamel comes is a full AS2700 colour range and selected MIO colours are also available.

Epinamel DTM985 is an upgrade and replacement for DTM800 and DTM900 combining the features of both products with the benefit of faster curing times.
