Local training delivers

As Glasurit customers already understand, the benefit of having a local training facility is immeasurable. In conjunction with delivering the globally recognised Glasurit training, it allows us the luxury of being able to tailor courses to suit individual needs and eliminate the need for your staff to travel interstate.

Glasurit training courses had an excellent attendance record in 2009, with course ranging from Basic Skills for apprentices or tradespeople wanting to brush up on their Glasurit knowledge, Efficient Painting, Rapid Repair and Colour Education 1. The feedback from delegates and employers has been very positive.

We also held courses for body shops changing from 55 line (solvent) to 90 Line (waterborne). Five repairers have made the change during 2009, joining Peter Wilkinson & Co, the first to change in November 2007. The process and structure of the training for these changeovers has enabled a smooth transition from solvent to waterborne technology.

What’s new in 2010?

Training in 2010 has been restructured, with Basic Skills separated from Efficient Painting. Two new courses have also been added: Colour Education 2 and Process Optimisation. The training for 2010 commences on 
1st February with Basic Skills. Training calendars will 
be available soon.
